With many of the subjects I shoot I will place a printed background behind the subject if the background is to cluttered, or I may move the subjects to a better background. Sometimes I get lucky, and the subject is in front of a good background that works well with the subject. Here are a couple images where I had a nice natural background to work with. These were shot on Madeline Island last month. Lupine flower in from of natural backgrounds.
