The Apostle Islands are a group of 22 islands in Lake Superior, off the Bayfield Peninsula in northern Wisconsin.
The main Island is Madeline Island where the Madeline Island School of Arts is located. They have a 40-acre campus with sleeping accommodations, dining hall and meeting spaces.
Food is exceptional.
At this time of year, the Island is in full bloom with the amazing Lupine Flowers.
I will be there teaching with my professional instructor friends, Charles Needle, Gerri Jones, and Sue Bishop coming in from England.
You will be capturing beautiful creative images of flowers and plant life in the fields, woods, and private gardens on the island and also in the town of Bayfield on the mainland by a ferry ride.
